The agitation, led by CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke, entered its second consecutive day on Sunday despite police asking protesters to vacate the protest site after the official permission expired on Saturday evening. Protest Continues Despite Expired Permission
The second phase of the demonstration began after hundreds of protesters chose to remain at Jantar Mantar overnight, refusing to leave until their primary demand—the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan—is addressed.
Delhi Police informed organizers that the permission granted for the gathering had ended at 5 PM on Saturday. However, CJP members continued their peaceful sit-in, requesting authorities to either extend permission or provide an alternate venue for the protest.

“We are holding the fort, but without your support this movement won’t be successful.”

One of the most striking visuals from the protest was hundreds of participants carrying steel plates (thalis) and spoons (chamach) while raising slogans demanding accountability.
The symbolic protest echoed the utensil-banging campaign seen during the COVID-19 pandemic but was used this time to express dissatisfaction over alleged failures in handling examination irregularities.
