At 9:08 PM on November 17, he passed away from his illness in spite of intensive treatment and the efforts of a qualified medical team.

Sagar’s health was grave from the beginning, according to the doctors. Among other consequences, he experienced dilated cardiomyopathy, severe respiratory failure, acute renal injury, and coagulopathy. His death was a cultural loss as well as a medical disaster.
