Director Dominic Arun disclosed that a dream he experienced during a lunar eclipse served as the inspiration for Chandra. More than 200 visual effects artists worked on the film’s production, which was filmed in Iceland and India. Before filming started, Kalyani spent six months training in aerial choreography and martial skills.
